We're glad you're here.
We aspire to make St. James a spiritual home for 1st-12th grade students. Together with families and the St. James community, they’ll thrive in living their Catholic faith and grow in their understanding of their identities as beloved children of God. As they go forth from St. James, they will be able to walk confidently in our modern world with the foundation of our faith and a relationship with Jesus to guide them.
St. James' Elementary Religious Education (ERE) progam works in collaboration with parents to share the joy of faith with the children of our parish through a Scripture-based program. ERE serves students in 1st through 6th grades.

program
offers opportunities for junior-high and high-school students to
learn
about their faith,
serve others, and
connect
with their faith community in order to grow as Catholics and deepen their relationship with Jesus.
About the Program
The 2026-2027 school year runs from September 16th, 2006 through May 5, 2007. Breaks follow the local school district schedules as much as possible.
Classes meet every week on Wednesdays in the St. James Parish Center:
- ERE (1st-6th grades): 2:30 - 4:00 pm
- SRE (7th-12th grades):
7:00 - 8:30 pm
6:30 pm: Optional $1/slice pizza and hang out
For ERE, register your student by school grade level.
For SRE, register for Confirmation or non-Confirmation formation. We welcome all junior-high and high-school students, regardless of where you are in your faith journey. That includes those curious about Baptism, those already Confirmed, and everywhere in between!
Registration opens early for existing program families on June 1, 2026 and for all families on July 1, 2026. Registration closes on October 14, 2026.
If ERE classes fill up, please email Emily Oh to be added to the waitlist. Additional classes may be added pending teacher availability.
St James offers a discount when registering multiple students.
- Cost for 1 student = $100
- Cost for 2 students = $150
- Cost for 3 or more students = $200
You may add-on Sacrament Preparation to any registration:
- There is an additional $25 fee for a Sacrament Preparation program to cover additional resources and labor.
- All those registering for Sacrament Prep. MUST upload a copy of their child's Baptismal certificate when completing the online registration process. We do not need your First Communion certificate.
- To be eligible for Confirmation this year, you must have completed a year of Religious Education last year and have already made your First Communion.
