Generations of Faith
Job Descriptions

The Generation of Faith program is much more that the Parish School of Religion - it will involve the whole family and the whole parish in the ministry of religious education.

We are looking for volunteers to help us in bringing this program to St. James. 'Generations' gives families a way to deepen the faith of each member of their families, and it helps them share faith at home and encourages everyone to participate in the life of the church. Our core team members are: Nancy Brown, Ron Forsell, Lupe Enders, Vicky Nazzall, Karen Nau, Janet Adam, Roberta Guerra and Gloria Tienda. The core team meets monthly in the Parish Center. All parishioners are welcome to attend all meetings! See the primary Generations page for the meeting schedule.

Top of the list of needs is facilitators. They need to be knowledgeable about our Faith and know how to lead small discussion groups. They need to understand the content of the lesson that particular evening.

The following Leadership Roles have been identified, and job descriptions are available for each of those roles. Please review the job descriptions. There is a place for your talents in this program. Even if you don't think you can perform all the duties of a leadership position, there are many ways you can help. If you would like to volunteer to be a facilitator or serve in any other capacity in this critical program, please call Gloria, 762-9063. Click to read the descriptions.
